Purified Hearts 3

A purified heart should be permitted victory over the earthen vessel in every area of one*s life.

Galatians 5:16: This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

2 Peter 3:1: This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:

1 John 3:3: And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

After almost 34 years of victories by my purified heart over my earthen vessel (with God*s help) my doubts are less troubling and of shorter duration. I recall some important Bible truths quicker and oftener. The final victory over our earthen vessels is promised by God and we can have much victory over them here and now. Doubt is unbelief and unbelief is a terrible sin. But I am not alone in my doubts. All believers always have the same struggles with their earthen vessel that I do and they too can have the help of God and multitudes of them do.

Romans 7:18: For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. 24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? 25 I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of God; but with the flesh the law of sin.

Mark 9:24: And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Luke 17:5: And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Hebrews 12:1: Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

1 John 5:4: For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.

Job 23:10: But he knoweth the way that I take: when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

Psalms 34:7: The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

Psalms 37:23: The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholdeth him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.

Psalms 40:2: He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

1 Peter 1:1: Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia, 2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied. 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
